You know that Spring has truly arrived when the Coquelicots are in bloom in the fields. The wild poppies just started opening two days ago. In another week the fields will be pure red. Very pretty to drive by!

that is a beautiful painting.
I think the person in the picture has a poppy in his hatband.
It is a Borie. Shepherds used to sleep/ live in them while tending sheep. There are many throughout Provence and Languedoc.
