This is my first year to have grown and tasted Fresno Chilis which were developed by Clarence Brown Hamlin. They have become my favorite chili. The heat level is similar to jalapeno but with thinner walls and their own unique flavor. Maybe the difference would be described as more complex than jalapeno, not sure what adjective to use. I use them in stir fry and they are great, just the right heat level for me. It’s been a pleasant surprise.
