These potato plants looked fine 4 days ago. Nice and dark green. I went out today and they look awful. Some look fine other look like this. Any ideas? I thought blight but this seemed to come on way to quickly. Thoughts?
Now I’m thinking of it, we had a near frost. Wonder if this is damage from that?
looks like frost damage.

Yeah, what he said
Amazing isn’t it to have frost this late. I can remember my dad planting potatoes in late February one year. He did run the sprinkler more than a couple times to keep them going.
I’m sad to say I’ll do that for fruit but not potatoes. I’d just go out and buy a bag of them.

You will know for certain in a few days. Potatoes that get frosted send up new growth in a week or so. If you see healthy new growth, it was cold temperature.
