Potted fig -> how low is too low (temp)?

I have a potted LSU Purple fig. I’ve been lazy and just got around to moving it into the garage today. It got down to 25 degrees the night before. How low is too low for a potted fig?

One night at 25F probably didn’t do any damage assuming the plant was dormant and already defoliated. There is the issue of top damage vs root damage. There could be a little root damage at that temperature but again probably not. 25F is about where I’d get seriously nervous about the pot starting to freeze.
