I bought fuyu and giant fuyu trees in late spring. They are growing nicely, but have outgrown the container it was shipped in. I want to give them a bigger container to thrive in, but I’m not sure what soil to use. Is there a good option for me to purchase (from a big box store), or will I have to mix a custom soil? What would be a good custom soil formula to use?
All my persimmons did just fine with happy frog organic potting soil. Someone here may suggest something better. But that soil seems to do well for a lot of my potted plants and trees.
