Preserving pomegranate arils by canning?

Has anyone had success preserving pomegranate arils by pressurized canning?

Interesting idea… I’m thinking to freeze them.

That does work. I need to ship some across the country though.

I have been wanting to try that, yet I still have not had enough fruit to bother trying. I have traveled on planes with jams canned with a Pressure canner, of course in the check in luggage. That survived even a flight from the USA to Turkey, a long flight with a large pressure change, since the carry on luggage area is not as well pressure controlled as the passenger area of the plane, of course I made sure to not fill the jars up too much.
