Profichi Caprifigs Maturing week by week in Australia

Hi there, I have been a member here for a few weeks now, and I thank Richard for pointing me in this direction. It is good to finally post something that may be of some interest, to at least a few people growing figs in a wasp area, as I am in Australia, Adelaide, to be exact. .

From what I see generally, there is very little mentioned, or shown, when it comes to the ripening/maturing of Caprifigs, and after taking 2 pictures about a week apart, of Profichi Caprifigs from the same tree a few weeks ago, it seemed like a good idea to continue until wasps have begun issuing from the figs on this tree, and possibly until the last wasps leave to enter the Mammoni crop. This is not my tree, although I now have full access to it in the owner’s side yard. It was grown as a Female tree, however, it was obviously incorrectly tagged, and then bought and grown many years ago by the current owners of this property, but never replaced, and for the surrounding Female trees, it serves them very well.
This picture shows approximately 5 weeks of growth/maturing since my initial photo, when the figs were about 30x30mm, and all pictures are dated, and sizes are also shown.

is that purple color true to life? I have been considering getting a capri q fig for quite awhile so i’m certainly interested. No fig wasp here so I would need to polinate by hand

Yes, all pictures I ever post anywhere, are exactly as I see them, and as the camera takes them, no colour enhancing is done. These Caprifigs when mature, are generally about 55-60mm in diameter and have brownish skin, until they get to the fermenting and dropping stage, where they are almost black.
My setup it below…

This should be what a Mature Profichi fig from this tree looks like this season, with masses of pollen, and plenty of wasps also.
