I planted two varieties of pumpkin. But since these are starting off with a yellow color, I’ve never seen a typical pumpkin do that.
Cargo and Autumn Gold are the varieties…

Some are yellow , the Atlantic giant I grew was, it’s actually a type of squash

Jung Seed describes it as a “bush” pumpkin three feet long, that is definitely not accurate, either. The description above is better.
