Purple apple berry (Billardiera/Sollya)

Does anyone grow any of the Billardiera species for fruit?

Purple apple berries, belonging to the Pittosporaceae family, are native to the more temperate and southern regions of Australia, like Tasmania and New South Wales.

These plants form evergreen vines with bluish purple flowers. The flowers are then followed by deep purple berrries that are reminiscent of apples in taste.

B. longiflora and B. heterophylla are most in cultivation. B. Longiflora is supposed to be on of the hardiest in this genus.
