I managed to root a Saint James mulberry cutting and am wondering if anyone has decent information about how big this cultivar is likely to get in zone 5b, southern NH. I know in FL mulberries would get massive and some can get sizeable here, but before I put it in the ground I want to make sure it won’t way outgrow the space where I put it. First mulberries growing in this zone, so feeling like a noob all over again.

i have i.e , river view and northrop growing here in z4b. n. maine. the last 2 are 4 and 5 years old. have grown slowly and never fruited. the i.e is only 3 years old and has put on double the growth of the others but hasnt fruited yet. i put in a trader mul. in spring of 24’ hasnt grown much. i think its a little too cold for them here to really flourish. they havent had any winter damage. just slow to produce. hopefully you have better luck as you are a zone warmer. keep us posted.
St James is a Morus alba from zone 6 PA, wo i would think yours will be fine down to at least zone 5a.
