Red fleshed apple varieties grown at Hocking Hills Orchard in 2022

Yep, that’s the account that I recall. It does strike me as fairly likely.

Pink Pearl was the first red fleshed variety I grew back in the late 80’s I think and while I still enjoy them they are a pain the rear to grow here in SE Ohio. Airlie Red Flesh is way more productive and a great tasting apple to boot. Surprise is also, as grown here, a better apple to me than Pink Pearl.

Would you mind sharing reasons why you like Winekist, Clifford, Surprise, Ruby Sipper and Red Devil? Taste, texture, etc. Thanks.
