The late freeze only spared a few pears. Red Rebel was bagged and dropped in my hand when I touched it.

They looks great. The apple looks similar to Fuji.

They do look similar to Fuji. The skin is thicker and they ripen earlier than Fuji.
@Auburn - when you bag, do you have any issues with the apples and pears getting too hot in those plastic bags in the heat of the summer? I’m considering bagging my korean giant and shinko and can’t decide if I should use plastic bags or paper bags- my concern is that that the summer heat and condensation would damage the fruit if I used plastic bags.

The Ziploc bags gets too hot for Asian pears at my location. I have been using the mesh bags for about 3 years now which works well enough. The Ziploc bags work better for my Pink Lady apples.
Thanks! Do you use the Ziploc bags on all your apples or just pink ladies?

Mostly on Pink Lady and Sundowner. I put vent holes in the bags.
