Remember the old 'Victory Garden' show with Roger Swain?

They had many hosts, but I started to watch it in the late 1980’s when Swain took over. Too bad they don’t put reruns back on or sell the set on DVD. A few episodes were on DVD, but nothing much.

I don’t even like gardening anymore, I’m 99.9% trees now. But I liked to watch the show and him.

Swain was also on a later series called ‘People, Places, and Plants.’ I got the DVD’s from the library.

I quit watching before him but liked Jim Crockett from the beginning, and Bob Thompson next. Had an autographed garden book from Jim, loaned it to someone and never got it back. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I used to get PBS when things were analog. Once TV went digital it was hit or miss. And 95% of the time it was miss.
