Has anyone compared the taste of Richards early Italian with regular Italian, french prune, imperial epineuse, and president plum? I’m especially keen on those grown in PNW.

I have Richards scion that I grafted to an unknown Italian type prune. It may bear fruit this year, but the one I bought will almost certainly bear next year. Raintree sent me the unknown Italian-type in place of the Purple Gage I ordered. I have heard that Brooks prune finishes between the two and is of very good quality. Also an Italian type.
I should note that Richards seems to bloom later than my other European plums.
