I have this pear tree on the new property I moved to and have no idea what type they are. They are starting to fall and I was wondering if they would make a good wine? I really like dark fruity sweet cold drinking wines and not a big fan if white wine. Wonder if they could be mixed with some frozen grape concentrate?

Interesting.
I’ve got a seedling of ‘Cleveland Select’ … fruits about thumbnail size.
But, I think I need to ‘tame’ the tree and graft it over to European or Asian fruiting pears.
