Schroeder ND Hardy Pear

Just saw this variety in the St Lawrence catalog and it sounded interesting. It is a 90 year old variety, so nothing new. But it regularly ripens in ND, large sweet fruit with few grit cells (from the catalog description).

Just curious if any growers here have any experience with it and what they think of it.

No experience with it, but it’s a variety I’ve considered growing here. Sounds like a good pear for northern growers.
