Sometimes I pre wrap and add temporary labels to scions before grafting. This method helps me stay organized while adding scions to my trees. These two scions pictured are long enough to snip off into sections if I want to do more than one graft (I often do this). If you’re careful, sectioning several shorter scions can be made from one stick. I will probably make two grafts from each stick but more could be made from each one. With this said I sometimes just take a bag of scions out and start grafting.
