Seed potato harvest

I plant my potatoes for seeds in pots with pro-mix to avoid bugs and diseases. Harvested them today :

Rose gold:

Red Pontiac:

Yukon Gold :

After I placed aside about 60 pieces on smaller and medium size to store I still had about 2/3 of 5 gallon bucket for food. Now it is all up to my small chest freezer and Johnson A421 Digital Temperature Controller to keep them safe till spring.

I just find a dark place that is cold and put them there until spring. I’ve never controlled temperature so mine are usually shriveled potatoes with long stems by the time I plant them but it works.
