I have a few seedling trees I am growing, some may end up being rootstock or just a temporary home for a special variety that I don’t have the rootstock I want for it. I did graft a seedling pear onto an older tree this year so I should have fruit to taste from it in a few years. I thought this apple seedling was a little unusual, really big leaves, this is its second leaf. I know lots of trees grow bigger leaves as juveniles than when they are mature but I just thought this little tree’s leaves were exceptionally large.
