Self-fertile Sweet cherry pollination

Hi all, I’m considering adding a BlackGold sweet cherry which I know to be self-fertile. My question is if it will produce a FULL crop by itself. I know many self-fertile fruit varieties will produce a bigger crop if given a pollination partner. Wondering if anyone has direct experience with only one BlackGold cherry tree. Thanks!

I have Black Gold. It will produce a full size crop without another tree to pollinate it. Actually, it blooms later than most sweet cherries so most other cherries can’t pollinate it well.

Late blooming is great if you have a late frost, you can still get a crop. However , it blooms too late to pollinate many sweet cherries. If you want to also pollinate other sweet cherries White Gold is a better choice as it blooms earlier. The chart below has bloom times and pollen compatibility for sweet cherries.
