Does anyone have any information on a Shirley plum tree? I found online that generally you need two plum trees to pollinate, is this the for the Shirley plum? Also, how long does it take to bare fruit?
Are you sure it’s Shirley? Maybe Shiro? Can you post a photo of the nursery label?
After I posted my question I called the nursery and they verified that it was indeed a Shirley Plum tree. He told me that it is a grafted tree and it matures in June. It produces red fruit and it is a self pollinating tree. Thank you everyone for the help
I think it’s exclusive to that nursery.
