Before I put them in full sun should I paint the trunks white to prevent sunburn?
They’re 1 year old in pots I won’t be able to put them in ground until next season. I have flat white water based paint. Do I mix 50/50 with water?
I’d paint them. I’ve seen people use straight latex and water down 50/50. I recently did mine and used about 35% water it went one coat pretty good. Sherman Williams exterior latex. I hear interior paint is safer but the ingredients on the interior and exterior ingredients were pretty similar on the labels.
