Small but I had to do it! Cherry tart

I had all of ten very small montmorency cherries this first year, so I couldn’t let them rot on the counter! So. . .

Hooray on the first crop! Hard to view while eating my lunch as now I am so hungry for cherries.

I love it!
I did something sort of the same with my Evan’s. The first year it fruited I think I got about 5 cherries which I just ate. The next year I got around 15, so I made some sour cherry jam. That produced about an inch of jam in the bottom of a half pint jar.
