Update of today how the best of the 3 cherries cutie pie set looks
Update 6/8/25 (was gonna reply but it won’t let me do another reply)
So after good ol Maryland having close to 2 weeks of rain, it has leaf spot in the center back part of it (it’s planted south facing with a wall behind it). We had a lot of cool weather with rain. So 60s with rain about every other day and lots of overcast days.
Once it dries a little bit I plan on spraying it.
Not sure if anyone else is growing this one, see it popping up in anyone else’s mentions.

So I picked my good cherry from it. Had a taste of pretty much a not ripe sweet cherry (tart) was very juicy. The skin seems to be the rather tart part, but it wasn’t unpleasant. I could definitely eat them with the understanding they are tart.
So I also heated it with some sugar and it tastes basically like a cherry from pie filling. It was really good.
Hopefully it survives the leaf spot and I get more next year, definitely happy with it.
