Size and appearance are perfect! Pears of that variety with that quality are difficult to obtain in my region. Great Job raising some very nice pears!
Amen brother. Not to discredit or diminish Alcedo’s accomplishment but climate is a big factor.

Wow, that’s some very, very early fruit set for a pear, even in ideal growing conditions - 3 years. I may have to check out Bonne Louise d’Avranches to see if I can get that over on this side of the pond!
