One thing that I’ve learned growing fruit trees is that you have to pick your battles…I’m sure this is one of those times…Like most of you I make daily rounds checking out my trees. Recently I noticed that the leaves on the Dorsett apple were being eaten…yesterday I found this guy, happily munching away. Is the grasshopper eating other insects and should I leave it, or is this something I should be concerned about?
It’s eating your leaves, it doesn’t eat other insects
Real question is how many of them are there - a lot of those can do real damage
