Anyone ever grow broom sorghum? My wife is into the idea of growing some and making a broom.
Sometimes you find old timers who grow it for the birds that love the seeds. Turkey, Quail, doves, pigeons and also squirrels. Deer, hogs and bears like it too.
It also attracts birds folks love to hate. Grackles, Cow birds, Starlings and other pest birds.
It really is not a filler seed in the sense it truly does attract wildlife everyone wants…lol…If you like tasty critters of course.
