I will be moving into a new build house/lot this winter, and I’ve been planning the plantings in the meantime. I’ve gotten enamored with the backyard orchard concepts as shown on DWN’s site. What I haven’t been able to find is a way to know the relative vigor between varieties to determine which variety should go in on the north, for instance, for multiple plantings, and whether this really makes a significant difference. I appreciate any feedback you can provide.
