Splitting Apricot Bark

I have noticed that the bark of my Debbie’s gold apricot tree stared splitting a bit earlier this year. It is the northish side of the tree. Under the split I can scratch to green. I am worried now as I see it has seemingly enlarged. I am not sure what type of disease I could be dealing with or if this is a normal varient.

I have Debbie’s Gold and mine did the same thing. The trees are growing ok so far but I was concerned about it too. Mine showed the same symptoms spring 2020 but still growing ok so far.
