Spring bulbs protection

Rabbits eat all my tulips and crocuses without leaving a chance for them to flower. This year I am planting my tulips between roses that have their own decorative fence enclosure and also in the flower bed inside my fenced, close to the house “kitchen garden”, where I plant small amount of veggies that I need often when I cook. But I really want to plant my crocuses somewhere else where I can see them more often, and there is no permanent fence. I have no problem to use a piece of metal net and make a round fence for them. That would sure save them from to be eaten, but the flowering show will be definitely spoiled. I want to know what people are doing to protect spring bulbs from rabbits and see the pictures if you have them.

My solution is to plant daffodils/narcissus and hyacinths.

Yeah, they aren’t tulips. But the daffodils in particular multiply instead of becoming more scarce all the time.

I have plenty of those to plant as well, but I really want my crocuses too!

I just spray the plants with Liquid Fence. Often time, it works.

Hyacinth are supposedly critter resistant. Deer pressure is so bad for me that I now only plant deer resistant plants. Have been planting lots of narcissus, ornamental alliums and hyacinth the last few years.
