I used some of our Georgia Candy Roaster squash and some hicans a friend sent me to make a pie that turned out super. First time I made a nut crust but won’t be the last!

that’s what we had for thanksgiving minus the nut crust. everybody loved them. how did you make the crust Jessie? i wonder if i could do it with hazels? got tons of those.

I bet hazels would work great! I used about 2 cups of nuts, 1/4 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 flour and ground it up in food processor then pressed it into pie pan before adding the squash filling
