There seemed to be an interest in another thread so figured I would post for all.
1x2’s in between, two foot flashing. Will need to be enlarged later as the tree fattens, but good for a couple years. They climb to that point and can no longer get a grip. End of the road for all climbers. Suspended stove pipe was my first choice, but this was cheaper.
