One of our favorite garden plants is sugar snap peas. We have grown them for decades as we love the sauteed and with salads. We dedicate about a 10 foot row to these every year and at times much more. Tjey are a favorite of my mothers so i will always grow them for her as long as i can but this year it seems she grew them for me.

Our family also loves them. Do you use any kind of support for them?

No not unless the weeds get away from us in which case they grow on top of them. We get a heavy harvest like this. If they grew any taller i would use cattle panels like i did for old fashioned pole green beans.

They are great sautéed, they kind of remind me of asparagus. I don’t get many for that though, my husband fills his pockets so he can snack while driving the tractor.
