I have not eating sugarcane in a long while. It is refreshing with pure sweetness.

The red one on the right had very short intemodes between nodes. Not much left to eat, IMHO.
I used to be able to easily chew sugar cane. My poor teeth don’t like to handle it anymore!!

I had some sent to me as a gift- it’s got nodes, can I grow a piece in the greenhouse do you think? you lay them in their sides under the soil, from what I vaguely recall.

I used to grow sugar canes in the tropic. Dislikes the leaves. They have sharp leaves/blades that could cut you and the fuzzy leaves cause itchiness when rubbed against your skin.
