cool…my understanding is they can sometimes take a while before the first bloom. how old is that plant??

It was separated from a mother plant a year ago.

That’s awesome, Richard. It looks like cubes of pure sugar.

It is less acidic than yellow pineapples and the core has the same texture as the fruit … entirely edible!

I have had some great pineapples recently, freshly picked at a farm in borneo. Almost left tonfully ripen on the plant. Amazing taste. A really good pineapple is amazing, strong aroma, intense sweetness, juicy, low acidity. I have a few to eat and pick today🥰
