Harvested my second pluot, of the 3 fruit in the tree. This tree has been in a raised bed for 3 years. I bought the tree the first year it came out from Dave Wilson and it was one of the first trees I ever planted.
I am happy to report, the fruit tastes great. It’s light, crunchy, and sugary sweet. Very little to no sourness. Just a crunchy bite l, with soft sweetness through out. I am. Edu happy with it.
I have never tasted flavor king or some of the others I am also growing so I will see how it compares. Every dapple dandy I have tasted from the store has been bland. This is superior fruit.
