“Teardrop” pear?

Another random scion I’ve got, no idea at this point where it came from, grafted and looking very healthy, seems to resist blight well. The name on the label was “teardrop.” Anyone have any information on this variety? Searches only bring up teardrop shaped pear trees :man_facepalming:

Hi, I took a moment with google images after running pear and Teardrop through a translator (Russian) I did not have much (any) luck. Mostly “teardrop” gemstones and prison tattoos came up. You might have better luck with another language or possibly ad “Pyrus” to the search string.

Maybe it’s intended to refer to shape rather than be a name. Perhaps they were referring to unknown teardrop shaped pear. It’s possible that’s it’s name but I know no such variety.
