Thank you to those who made/run this forum

It’s a breath of fresh air being able to have this community on a forum and not on Facebook. I try to use Facebook as little as possible. This forum is always up and I’ve never experienced any issues. Knowledgeable community. Seriously, thank you to those who are running this forum. You’ve done a great job

I second this!

I really can’t stand social media, but I do like having a forum to share information.

Thanks!

Hear Hear!* I do use FB for two local gardening groups and a composting group but… 1- can’t find prior discussions as they vanish in the feed, so a lot of repetition 2- Y’all here are pretty expert at your stuff (it seems) and maybe because we can search prior stuff we don’t have half the posts (at least as far as I see in email notifications received and when I dive deeper) consisting of “I’m totally new tell me everything!” or “what is this thing?”

I resist saying "you can get on FB, go get a library book or google composting! / starting a garden!/ flower growing! etc. and some kindly sorts repeatedly post the plant or bug or snake ID entry for the questions without too harshly saying “use this freaking app I just used!”

*Or is it here here? No, The correct term is, “hear, hear!” It is an abbreviation for “hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!”

Apologies if too pedantic re hear hear- I’m binging young Sheldon and might be spouting fun facts more than usual for me.
