The first pruning and straightening the fig cuttings for tree form hurt me lol
I’ve begun the first steps of training these 3 month old cuttings to a single leader for future tree form. I removed all side branches and suckers leaving a single trunk staked straight to grow as tall and thick as possible the first season then end of season after it’s dormant head it at 24". Then next season ill focus on the scaffolding branches.
They are in 4x9 treepots. Two treepots fit into a 2gal pot so they don’t tip over.
About 1 or 2 weeks before they go outdoors.
