The Perfect Tree?

Flat Wonderful pictures for reference… My tree has easily grown over 20 feet tall. I took matters into my own hands and pruned it to maintain a somewhat manageable height.

Pictures takes 6/13/25, zone 6b.

Pecans are hard to beat for yard trees that produce edible nuts. Black walnut and Persian walnut also are good in areas where they are adapted. Chestnuts have spiny burs which makes them more of a problem in a yard. Hickory, heartnut, hazelnut, and others have a place too.

Hazelnuts are very pretty lining roads, water features and boundaries. Not to small or big.
