Ok, So I’m guessing nothing tastes like Durian except Durian, and I guese a few things might taste like Noni eg rotting cheese.
But of the universally desirable flavors, Sweet Cherry has to be one of the rarest. From what I gather sweet cherry flavor is only found in Prunus Avium and some Eugenia fruits like Cherry of the Rio Grande. Sweet Cherry is all but lost on any cross breeding with other prunus and sour cherry flavor is common everywhere.
What I call Wild cherry flavor is more common, eg American black cherry and Sakura cherries taste similar, but sweet cherry is relegated to just one member of the genus.
ok let me take it back, The rarest flavor has to be yellow sweet cherries since they taste different from sweet cherries yet again.
