Thought of a good use for the big piece of plastic Starks wraps their bare root trees with. Probably get 30-40 pieces of plastic like the one I cut below out of each one.

If you think of a better use for the big pieces of plastic let me know I ordered some more apple trees! Air layering is very useful for peaches, cherries, other trees, and tropical plants. I learned the technique years ago from a guy who owned a mango orchard in Florida who is a friend of mine living in Kansas now. The orchard became a housing development.
