Yes, I am planning to keep them in the pots so I can move them around for frost protection. I am not sure how much they will produce in pots. I also plan to bark graft some to my huge 2 eight years old concord grapes next Spring.

They are 18" wide and 24" deep self-watering pots I got them on sale a Shopko in Onawa, Iowa while on a business trip for $6.49 a piece. I will cut some dormant scions this late February and bark graft them in late April when the concord grape leafed out. The understock of the conord grape is around 3.5 " wide. I will top work one and save on for juice.

Good deal on the pots! Somehow these large pots always look small to me from the pics. I have little luck with self watering pots on trees. At the moment I have 1 gooseberry and a Muscadine (Cowart plus) in self watering pots. I have 2 blossom cluster on the muscadine. Not sure if anything would come of them. it was planted this year. I believe they are 2 yr old
My 2 potted T P vines grew like crazy. I will have to find a permanent spot too build a trellis for them next Spring

I need to get one. Is this any related to Muscat grape?
I also need to try one…i’d pot it… i have Reliance right now but the rabbits destroy it every winter.
Anyone knows if this grape is related to the Muscat grape?
RedSun,
You can email Gurneys and ask them more infos about this TP grape. I am sure their nurseryman will answer your question. The sweet different flavor from the standard table grapes got me interested. Gurneys has a short video how to train it.

My TP vine has proven to be an extremely vigorous grower as compared to the seedless concord next to it. This is its 4th year for me and it is loaded this year. Last year the birds ruined the entire harvest so I need to invest in some netting this year.
TP is around a couple years old and doing fine in Kansas. No fruits yet but would expect some next year.
Have you tasted any? How do you like the taste?
I am reserving any judgement on taste until after this year. Every year up to now, something went wrong. Two years ago I think the vine was too young and the clusters set very poorly and the grapes that did grow were extremely small. They also got hit with rot. Last year, they set much better and right after they went to pink the birds got to them and ruined the entire crop. This year I have about 30-40 clusters just about ready to bloom. I am going to be diligent with my sprays and netting this year. I am determined to finally get a crop. I’ll report as they progress.
