Hope so. I have it arriving this week.
Just looked into it and it’s now $29.99. I searched for reviews and found absolutely nothing on it as far as fruit quality etc.
I’ll wait to hear some feedback on it, but it sounds good.
I gave in and ordered one yesterday. The email I got still good for the $11.99. Did you try to check out and use the discount key code to see the sale price before giving your credit card.

No…I didn’t try that Tony. I’d love to be able to grow a non slip, seedless grape here similar to Flame grapes. This thing seems to look a bit like flame, but the flavor description they listed sounded odd to me.
Just got here this afternoon. Seemed in good shape, roots wrapped and moist. I got it from Henry Fields, used a replacement certificate for failed Anne’s, so free(ish) for me. Got Pink Reliance too. Reliance was bigger caliper but both roots really nice.
I have a Tickled Pink grape from Gurneys on its 3rd leaf this year. I am in zone 5b and it has survived our last 2 harsh winters with little die back. I let one cluster go to fruit last year, but wasn’t on top of my spraying last year or maintenance of them, so a lot of the grapes on the cluster had rot. I think this was my fault due to my limited time last year to care for them. The few grapes I did eat had a pleasant, sweet flavor, but was different from your typical table grape. The grapes on the Tickled Pink clusters are small though, below average…that is there downside. I am hoping this year I will be getting a couple clusters from the vine.
I also have Pink Reliance on its 3rd leaf. Seems a little more vigorous than that Tickled Pink, but had major die back this last winter. Our low was -18F and I lost half the main trunk this winter. I may even have to prune it all the way back and start from the base again as the bud that pushed is not very vigorous.
looks really good Regina.
Ron, that’s disappointing to hear. Have you also read this elsewhere or is this just your experience with your vine? I know very little about grape growing, but my vines produced smaller grapes as juveniles, could this possibly be the reason for your smaller grapes…just not fully established?
If you are a grape grower, is there a variety you would recommend that meets or most closely meets what I’m looking for? Similar to Flame, but suitable for Z6?
For anyone interested, there is a sale today, looks like they are going for about $8.49 from HF (not Gurney’s) on sale. I got this code to use: 0642464
I am new to grapes - I have an unknown type growing from a bed I recovered from weedapalooza; it looks domestic (vs. wild) so I trellised it and hope it fruits next year so I know what it is. These two are my first ‘known’ varieties.
I don’t have nearly as harsh a winter as you do it looks like so I hope for no dieback. In the case of the Tickled Pinks I will take your recc. to get spray on them and maybe I can get them sized up. Thanks!
Not bad right? I am always hesitant to use one of the conglomerate mailer nurseries, but last fall they had such a great deal on raspberry varieties - and I wanted a mix, not 5 of one kind - plus the offer included a free potted Carmine Jewel and that pushed me over the edge to order. They replaced the dud berries and thus I had this certificate sort of burning a hole on my computer screen… so grapes it is.
They look pretty good though.
Hi Appleseed70,
I am confident that they were smaller due to the vines being juvenile and also my lack of care for them last year. Some of the ones I got last year were really small…like pea size, some little larger. I would expect the Tickled Pink grape to be about the size of a marble, slightly larger maybe. I believe a few others stated the same about their size if you go to Gurneys website and read through the reviews for the Tickled Pink. I am going to grow it out a few more years see what it is like at maturity. I can handle the smaller size as long as the taste is worth it.
I do grow grapes, but only a handful and it is purely as a hobby / learning experience, so unfortunately, I don’t have a wealth of background. With that said, have you looked at Red Canadice? Medium size fruit and many have good things to say about it. I put one in the ground this spring.
Cool. I’m like you, if it’s seedless I can accept small grapes if they’re really good. I think I’ll go ahead and order this from HF, Brethill’s certainly looks nice, and at great price.
BTW…I have Red Canadice and it is very good, tastes a bit like wine to me and my wife. Problem is, mine has seeds.
I planted it last yr. This season I have 5 clusters unopened blossoms this year. If anything comes of them I will surely let you know. Apart from watering it, I didn’t do much with it. Not sure if I am suppose to?
Update on Tickled Pink, for you Appleseed (and every one!): buds burst on day 3 in the ground, coming along nicely already. In truth so is Pink Reliance from HF. I’m pleasantly surprised.
Tickled Pink an hour ago
Pink Reliance, also an hour ago. Larger vine and really taking off, broke dormancy planting day 4. Need to build another arbor.
My two tickled pink grapes from Henry Fields are doing well so far. I will build a T-post in the center of the pot and try to train them.

This is one of my Tickled Pink cluster, looks rather disappointing
this is either Catawba or Canadice
Not sure if anything will come of them. I will be a happy camper if I get at least one bunch per variety.
I have a 2 year old which has been hardy but not fruited yet. It did well during the drought.
