Timing in Rooting Grape Vines

I’ve had success with spring hardwood cuttings. The summer greenwood cuttings have been a hit-and-miss. So I just wonder if there is anything I can do with fall semi-greenwood cuttings. My only concern is that, I’ve not seen any fall growth. So I do not know how quickly the semi greenwood cuttings can root. Managing rooted cuttings indoors is another story…

I root grape vines in pots beside the grape vines. Sometimes they root faster than others depending on environmental conditions. By keeping the vine attached to the parent vine your assured of success.
