Got back from vacation to find this German Pink hiding out in my tomato tangle.

a San marzano appeared as I was cutting back old melon vines and it’s got at least two dozen on it, green. didn’t know it was in there

these are green stripe a friend brought seeds to me. they get reddish with the green when ripe and are very sweet inside. am planning to try to clone a few from suckers over winter.

tomato alley is my tomato space but it’s hard to photograph. just two long rows tomatoes each side, one has a cattle panel with t posts the other has string tied to the arched pen. that view is from outside it, will try to get a photo down between the rows if I can in the day.

obligatory picked photo of black krim, early Willamette, San marz, green stripe. (lemon cuke sneaking in) having to pick at first blush, squirrel take a bite as soon as they turn and drops the rest.

The green striped ones look like my Lucky Tigers.

I picked a ripe Crnkovic Yugoslavian today. Flavor was superb. If I rate tomatoes, Crnkovic is consistently #1 or #2 I’ve ever eaten.

they’re really the best tasting ones I’m getting fresh. they may be a similar variety.

tomato row from the end:

I had to hack through with a machete at one point. the squash and sunflower volunteers took over. planning another cattle panel/ t post for the right hand row next year.

Growth habit fits.
There is also a Green Tiger with no blush. Mine looked like it most of the season with just a gentle blush. They turned the red on a bit more just before the rains got in. I’m planting more next year. And will try out the Green one, too.
