Serve hot in the fall and cold in the summer. This is the original recipe from La Bonne Soupe in NYC.

Sentence 1 of #1 describes how the Hungarian immigrants on my mother’s side would start just about everything cooked in the kitchen. In fact some of it was poured into the strudel dough :slight_smile:.
