Second time they’ve let me down.
First time was sent a nearly dying plant with spider mites. This time, i ordered a 3 gallon and a less than 1 gallon plant came.
Has anyone actually had success with them?
Moved to general fruit growing because that’s also where i see all the other nursery reviews. I believe this should be public and not in the private Lounge
I have never had an issue from then, and I’ve ordered 7 trees from them. They were all larger than I expected except the loquat, which was the size I thought everything would be. But I only bought 1 gallons, so I can’t speak about them sending the wrong size pots. They also only travel for a day and go 100 miles at most, so our experiences will vary.
I will say, I would imagine any tropical you get from them will not look too good. Its traveling basically the entire country and its real cold in the middle of the country right now. Its the same reason I’m always hesitant to order from Washington nurseries; a long way to go and a long time for things to go wrong.
I’ve had some great looking plants come in from everglades.farm and its not stress shipment that I’m seeing but more so, already sick to begin with. Like, spider mites don’t just happen overnight
Not on fruit trees, but definitely cannabis. lol
It’s their favorite plant.
Update: they got back to me and said they only 1 gallons in stock. Offered me 10$ in store credit or they can send me a shipping label and i can ship it back for a full refund even though their website at the time stated that it would be a 3 gallon plant that would get shipped.
They’ve since changed the website but i wouldn’t have bought it if it was only a panama red 1 gallon for 85$.
If it was out of stock, they could have messaged me back like Grandpa’s Orchard, trees of Antiquity or even rain tree and told me that they didn’t have the size i had requested and given me an option then.
Kind of irritated with it all
@Melon Is that the price difference between 1 and 3 gallon? I feel that there should be an offer to refund you the difference in price and have you keep it. It must be more expensive to ship it back as a return and also risk the possibility that they can’t resell it. It is sketchy to just substitute a smaller, cheaper product with no price adjustment.
They changed it so the price of 1 gallon is the same as the 3 gallon now. I don’t remember what the difference was but there was a difference at the time of purchase
They have been on my “do not buy” list for many years.
