Torpedo / mirza melons

Does anyone here grow these? They originate from Central Asia and are apparently also grown in southern California but more as a curiosity. I remember tasting one as a child - it was extremely sweet and flavorsome.

There are seeds for sale, mostly from Uzbekistan, Russia or China. I’ve ordered some from a seller in NC - will give it a try. Curious to see if anyone had any success with them.

It reminds me of the Lilly Melon sold by Johnny’s, but that is listed as a Crenshaw.

They are grown in USA. Bought two of them at local Ranch 99 chinese grocery. Have seen them for several years in season. They are crunchy and taste like a cantalope to me.
