My tropical guava have been very productive for four years now in a place that’s even barely marginal for them. I saw a few flowers during some hot spells of Fall and they turned into fruitlets that I would write off as loss.
What a surprise! I thought the pea sized tropical guava fruitlets from last year would fall off during the winter but they’ve grown bigger! I am going to let these fully mature and let them fall off and see if cold hardy epigenetics have made it to the seeds! I’m going to germinate the seeds and test them for cold hardiness!
